The Parent Company
Nashar Trading Company, a privately owned Saudi company, was established over 50 years and is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It supplies a range of food products via its own distribution and sales resources to the Saudi and Gulf markets. The company maintains a position as one of the leading Saudi food companies marketing premium products in a number of markets with its own and international brands such as Green Giant vegetables, Dietade health products, Golden Crown cream, Farm ghee, Nashar tuna, etc. In 1983 the company made its first move into manufacturing in the Kingdom with the building and commissioning of an international standard meat products factory in Jeddah - Nashar Meat Company.

Built to European standards at a cost of over SR 30m, the aim was to supply the Saudi consumer with the highest quality meat products in strict accordance with the demands of Islam. The company adopted a single-minded commitment to quality, maintaining the highest possible standards in production, hygiene, technical support, training and customer service. This commitment has been rewarded, helping the company to become the region’s premier supplier of meat products both directly to the consumer via its leading Al-Jazzar and Al-Safeer brands, and via local and international catering and fast food operators throughout the Arab world. The product range covers a wide range of quality processed meat products such as mince, burgers, nuggets, meatballs, hot dogs, frankfurters, pizza toppings and many delicatessen products.
Our commitment to quality continues with ongoing investment in production facilities, techniques, skills and systems; and the factory has recently been upgraded and refurbished to increase quality and capacity. Now there is full separation of red and white meats and high/low risk areas of operation. In addition, the new layout enables the company to increase productivity and install new process controls to maintain the high standards of hygiene and consistent product quality, which are required by the international fast food operators.
